Palliative care focusses on alleviating suffering for terminally ill patients, improving the quality of their remaining life and addressing the needs of both the patients and their families. Through palliative care at home, your loved one can spend their remaining days in familiar surroundings with the people they love. Our nurses are experienced in addressing the healthcare needs of patients with cancer and other life limiting and terminal illness. They are also equipped to provide emotional and psychological support for patients and their family members during what can be a very trying time.

Colbrow Homecare has enabled hundreds of people to remain in the familiarity of home for their final days by providing expert palliative care services. Working closely with our clients, their families, doctors , pharmacists and other health providers, we provide our clients with the peace of mind that their care needs will be met in the comfort of their own home.

We provide support services from a one-hour respite to 24-hour home nursing care. As everyone is different, we conduct a comprehensive in-home consultation which allows us to identify patient needs and tailor a suitable homecare plan.
Our Registered Nurses and Carers are highly experienced and trained in palliative care and provide all services in the palliative approach, this includes:

Client Testimonials

client-one Colbrow's response to my request for overnight nursing care for a client was made in the morning. The service was commenced at  5pm that evening, this included a home visit and client agreements being signed. The nursing staff were compassionate, unobtrusive and provided first class nursing care to my client at a very difficult time. I will certainly be using Colbrow again and recommend others to do the same

Director Care3
client-one.png It is approximately a year since the death of my late father john Anthony Kelly of Melissa St Strathmore, and my formal duties as an executor of his estate are almost at an end. As I complete these duties i feel that it is important to remember to thank those who provided care to my father when he most needed it. In particular i remember and very much appreciate, as do my sister and two nieces who lived with him, the complex and high level nursing care that your company provided for him during late 2012 and the first half of 2013. We especially wish that Ann's excellent support be recognized. This care enabled him to stay at home as he wished for much longer than would otherwise have been the case.
Thank you all for your good work and may it continue long into future. ”
